Anyone know if there is a reason why Cobb removed 2.01 & 2.02 maps from the site?

No idea... I save every map locally though, so if you need it let me know! (EDIT: I guess it'll only help if you have the same ROM, IJE0S)

Thanks for the offer, F1rst 1 got me the 2.01 maps thankfully. I did not realized how crazy the power was down low on the 2.01 maps till I drove on 2.03 for a few days. It is like night and day.

I would be very curious of the exact changes that cobb made.

2.01 - at about 1/3 throttle is when the power hits.
2.03 - at about 7/8 throttle is when the power hits.

I would love a happy medium when stage 2 drops. I was on the phone with customer support and the guy would not budge on stage 2 release date...

We were exchanging PMs regarding my concern about the detectability of the Cobb I purchased, but have not yet installed. After he allayed my fears, I asked if he had any idea when the CC issue would be worked out. Ironically he said, "yes, I do. It should be fixed in the next maps, which will be released next week." I have to take this is as a reliable indicator that, if nothing else, they are VERY close to getting those maps out.

I think it's hilarious that I broke the news about this.

So the AP is definitely undetectable then after you uninstall it?

I'll believe it when I see it. Honestly, I'm so used to driving without cruise control now, I don't even care about this. It's also allowed me to use the "hypermiling" technique of accelerating downhill, decelerating uphill (traffic permitting). This has netted me the past couple of weeks about a 1.5 MPG increase.

Honestly, I dont want to whine but this is actually getting a bit ridiculous. We can't even get a solid release date on stage 2, not even initial results. I hate to say it, but i am now really leaning towards going JB4. I think I will give it 2 weeks, if no solid date/stage 2 is released, I am out.

At least you have an Accessport. How bout we N55ers who cant even seem to get a release date on any Accessport for our cars?!

I've been contemplating the same thing, brother. I'm going to wait until the new maps come out and see what I can do with the AccessTuner. If it's not all I was hoping for, I see JB4 or Procede in my future.

I for one have been very happy with the 203 map (the rest kind of suck in comparison), and with Cobb in general, given my experience with their products and service on this car and my old Subaru.

That said, I feel like they still have a long way to go to perfecting their product for the 135. Judging by the differences between maps and the completely different experiences that users seem to be having. Perhaps BMW, with it's multiple ECU's and many upgrades is harder to manage than a turbo Subaru?

I stopped by their Austin Facility about a month ago when I was in Texas for business. Great group of guys. Based on what I heard when I was there, it does not seem likely that the N55 tune will be released until the end of the year. Wish I had better news to report
