So I know the part number for the BMW performance SSK. I don't want the whole kit as I like the look of the stock shifter and boot. Does anyone know the individual part#s so I can order them individually w/o the shifter and boot?

I didn't either. I ordered just the three parts that actually make up the linkage (maybe 4) and had the dealer install. I test drove a couple cars while I was there and by the time that was done, my car was ready. Took them about an hour.

I love the results, especially my knuckles NOT hitting the heater controls. Lot tighter and funner to drive. Shifting resistance - not an issue.

I had my SA call up the part diagram on his screen and we ordered everything but the shift knob and boot. 2 days later I took the car in, waited around about 1-1/2 hours and drove it home with a huge smile.

Resurecting this thread from the past because it is a good one. Has anyone actually installed a Z3 (any variant) shifter into a USDM 128i?
