Oil leak after warranty work - 1 month till warranty expires haaalp!
So, I collected my car from the dealership a few days ago after I had left it with them for some warranty work, they changed my injectors and o2 sensor to fix my rough idling/misfiring problems... The problem seems to be gone but I popped my hood today to have look and I saw this
WTF is this now? Is it a serious problem?? I was waiting for my warranty to expire so I can finally install some mods and I have an appointment booked for that in a couple of days! Is this something I can sort out myself at a low cost (DIY or at an independent shop) or should I take it back to get it fixed while I'm still under warranty? Please help Oh knowledgeable fellow members |

Looks like they spilled some oil. Probably best to burn the car.
In seriousness, was it clean when you got it back?

Lol yeah I did have look when I picked it up to make sure they fixed a power steering reservoir leak and that oil wasn't there

I'd start by pulling the plastic cover to see if you can find the source. Valve cover gaskets are a known failure point on BMWs. They are pretty bad at making oil proof gaskets.
