I grew up in NH/MA and actually drove across country a few years ago. Then ended up in N. Dakota. Drove my 1er from Oregon to Dakota. Montana roads are awesome. Not sure if I will trailer it or drive it yet. Looks like I'll only be an hour at most from downtown Boston, so I'm up for any meets. Only saw one other 1 series in N. Dakota ever. And it had NY plates and looked like it was passing through, haha.

we have a pretty good crew out here. for those of us who actually post here, we're def more about the driving (AX & track) than the shows

I live in Bedford, NH, about an hour from the seacoast.
I've seen couple other 1ers in the Nashua/Merrimack area a few times. I will eventually make my way down to an AutoX event this year.

I have done something similar with some of my past cars but they were manufacturer sponsored events (BMW, Mazda, Audi). Those events were probably more like an intro to AutoX. All of the tracks were maybe 20-30 seconds long - and then back in line.
For a long time, I would refer to those memories as "my happy place."

Andover, MA here.
I don't think I've driven "my new to me" 135i in NH yet and I am only 15-20 minutes from the border. Have done tracks days at NHMS and Lime Rock years ago, but only 1 auto-x (also years ago). Did a CCA league at F1 Boston when it first opened and loved it. I thought nothing could beat track days, but karting offers real wheel to wheel racing on the cheap. |

Will you be in the Dover/Portsmouth area? There are some 1 series up there, but not 1ers, lol

I spent a significant part of last summer/fall in the Portsmouth area and can honestly say that I did not see a single 1er. I few older people with verts.
However, BMW of Stratham has a really decent service center. And La Festa in Dover has great Pizza.

Looking forward to trying out BMW of Stratham. I read great reviews online. Since I've been in the midwest, I've been using BMW of Minnetonka in Minneapolis which has the largest indoor showroom in the world. It will be interesting to try a small dealer again! Also, looking forward to curvy roads again like in Oregon. Lots of straight roads here on the great plains. |

If you go there you will see some of the dealership's features. Incredible place. I mean, it has escalators to get to other floors! Anyway, they provide great service. |
