Steering Pull

Had my 330i SE (March 05 build) for just over a week now.

When I go over a bump or pot-hole, I've noticed the steering has a tendency to pull into the direction of the bump, and not self-center quite as much as you would expect.

The car doesn't have active steering.

Anyone else had this? Is this just a product of the run-flats, or something else?

Any comments be much appreciated.

Aside from this, what a car!!!

Cheers

Yeah, this happens to me every once in a while if I hit a bump or a pothole in the road. It's kind of dangerous, my car sometimes jerks towards the lane next to me and I need to make a rapid adjustment to prevent an accident.

I notice this too. Not that often though. Just more prominant on slopes especially.

The wider tires and stiffer suspension on the car (esp if you have the SP)make it try to track any imperfection in the road (like a bump or pothole).

Nice to know I'm not imagining it andd that others have experienced the same issue.

Gonna mention it to BMW and see what they say.
