128i vs 135i ZMP front bumper

Anyone notice that now you can build a 128i coupe with the ZMP package that the front bumper on the 128i has fog lamps while the 135i with the ZMP package still does not, see picture from bmwusa.com

Below is picture of 135i coupe with ZMP package on bmwusa.com showing no fog lamps.

Below is a link to a US spec'ed 135i coupe with the ZMP package showing there are no fog lamps on the 135i with ZMP

Anyone tried to retrofit a 135i with fog lamps or is it just impossible.

The 128i has foglights standard, It does not have the larger diameter brakes that the 135i has. So it does not need the larger brake ducts of the 135i. This, in turn gives a spot for the 128i foglamps. And AtomiK thanks for throwing my thread in there. Im still working on figuring out that foglamp issue.

Yep, the 135 needs that space for cooling the brakes.

The 135 has an oil cooler in the fenderwell that needs air, the 128 does not.
Here's my 128 with the kit from United BMW. Did the install myself.

I believe it's not the brake ducts that get blocked, it's the oil cooler duct. In the pic above the brake ducts appear to still be open and free. I'd love to install these lights on my 135i, I just can't seem to find the wires.

That is correct. It is the oil cooler duct.
