Blackfire Wet Diamond - wow!!!

So in preparation for a photoshoot tomorrow, I have spent the entire day detailing my ride. I forgot how amazing Blackfire Wet Diamond is, since I have only applied it once before. Here's a quick shoot of the hood in my garage...it's got so much depth/gloss that it is easy to forget one is looking into a blue car! I will post pictures of the entire car from tomorrow's photoshoot as soon as they are available. Excuse the crappy iPhone quality:

Looks great!

...but taking pics in the garage is cheating! Here's mine after 2 coats of Zaino Z2, also iPhone shot. Keep hearing rave reviews about Blackfire though!

EDIT: the little particles on the hood pics outside just landed on the hood...that's why I didn't want to move it outside. Your ride looks clean as well, and the quality of your picture looks much better than mine...I'm guessing you have an iPhone 4? I'm still rocking my 3GS

Cheating? lol you didn't do much better with that picture, but here you go, just backed the car out of the garage for these shots:

Thanks for the link. I ran out of Zaino so I'm thinking I should give Blackfire a shot this time around!

As a longtime Zaino user, I can vouch for Blackfire being an absolutely great product. Buth on Jet Black and Imola Red.

I too used to use Zaino products at one point...but their need for multi-layering of multiple products got tedious for me very quickly. Blackfire being one single product and yielding outstanding results is the way to go!

Here is part of the reason for all that detailing:

Thanks! Yes man, look at my last post on this thread, I provided a link of the photo shoot that we had at the NAS Jax base this past Sunday. We are a group of about 11-12 cars, and slowly growing. Certain people come from GA and from other areas of FL and we try to do something at least every other week, but often times weekly. We tend to meet up at one of the members' garage every time someone needs something done/installed on a car.

You're welcome to drive down and meet us any time! The majority of the group owns 3-series cars, and I'm one of only 2 1-series owners.

So it's been a week since I sealed my car's surface, and it was time for a bath this morning. I forgot how smooth the surface becomes with BFWD...it's a little crazy to see that not even soapy water stays on it for long...it just beads and runs off the car. I think I may need a shampoo that suds more than Menzerna because this thing just glides off the surface of my car. It's extremely easy to clean once sealed, and the car is back to looking like it did last weekend!

Throw a second coat of BFWD on now that the first has cured for a bit....it just gets better with the second coat.

I thought about after the wash yesterday...but the sky turned dark and I just wanted to finish the wash and put the car in the garage. Though I have plenty of space inside, I prefer to apply blackfire outside after the wash an before the sun hits my car directly...this way I don't miss any spots! I'll probably go for a second coat this weekend

Just used the companion product to Wet Diamond. Blackfire Midnight Sun wax. Put 2 coats on my car. 1 last week and 1 today. This is an excellent wax. Looks like a candy apple type shine. Hard to explain but I happy with the results. Just rained here.. was fun to watch it bead......

Very much so. That second layer will help to even out anywhere that might have "low spots" of protection for a better overall sacrificial barrier. As a bonus, the second layer goes on even smoother due to the slickness it's being applied over

I forgot to post, but I did throw another coat of BFWD a week later and it's been amazing all along!
