Key Fobs
So the fob I rarely use is completely dead.
Today I got in the car and got a warning light that my one working fob is low on battery. Do I have any other option that the dealer to get a replacement? I assume the dealer will want ~$500 for the fob and programming.

Not on these cars.
The battery recharges when you have it inserted in the car and are driving it. So it’s lasted 12 years but now is dying. I read if you’re brave you can somehow take it apart and change the battery but it involves soldering and such. It’s not meant to be changed.

Same problem here, one fob is fully dead. The other is still fine (for now).
Also non-comfort access. Curious as to solutions/prices.

I just called the dealer and they said $300, which is better than I thought.
I'll probably just get it.

My car came with 2 fobs. One never worked for me. I tried to solder in a new battery and it still didn’t work. So I wonder if my fob was broken when I bought the car. It wasn’t too tough to solder in, but you really have to ruin the plastic case to get it apart. I ended up buying a new 2nd fob in the end ($>450) Glad you could find it for cheaper.

Don't let the dealer include the physical key in what they charge you. All you need is the transponder. Each part is sold separately and priced accordingly.
