This appears to be for newer cars, and it appears to be the standard fuel pump, not the HPFP. Damn.

The HPFP has a 10 year / 120,000mi warranty due to the recall..

Does this extended warranty also apply to the 1M? I asked my dealer and he said no. Also, does anyone know if the extended wastegate/turbo warranty applies to the 1M? Thanks.

I also think that is correct. BMW they felt that the 1M pump was fixed and not part of the recall....but I have been wrong before.

I was told it does apply by my dealer. they replaced my hpfp and said now I have the updated part!
