1M Goes "Home"
Just got home from a great week in Europe. Included two of my birthday presents, a flight in a jet fighter out of Bitburg Airport and over Germany, Luxembourg, France & Holland, AWESOME!!!
Took the 1M to The Nurburgring on Sunday and did a lap in the ring Taxi too. The Taxi had a clear lap without anyone else on track, quick, enjoyable and pretty exciting when it rained at 10K's. Track was closed lots of times on Sunday due to crashes and oil so I only got in a single lap in my car. Back at home the 1M is cleaned and ready for the day to day driving. Normal service will be resumed on Friday     |

Really lucky with the Taxi Ride, we went out first after a closed track so it was just the M5 on track. The driver said that a set of tyres lasts 40 Laps or 2 days!!! I would certainly recommend the experience

I really want to emulate this trip, but I'm finding it hard to reason myself into shipping my car over there - doing so would squarely remove my justifications for NEEDING to rent out a M135i... 3 door. @( 'O' )@ Koala needs some hatchback love.
Anyway, dang, dude. I won't presume to know whether you truly deserve such a righteous birthday gift, but I will say that I am pretty jelly regardless Time to DD that baby like a boss. |

There are plenty of "Rent a Racer" companies near to the Ring, or if you're coming from the other side of the world you may want to hire a car and incorporate a holiday drive in Europe.
You would or could not be disappointed!! |
