I would seriously consider this but I've read so many threads how you a) you still get a CEL or b) you'll eventually get a CEL.

Well you would want to use some sort of tune along with a DP to get the most power out of it which in turn has code clearing options.

The point is smell.
Some people don't care or notice but the fumes can be bothersome. Also the stink of catless can be noticed by local law enforcement. I'm in So Cal so the cops just love giving tickets and they also give what they call referee tickets in which you would have to get your car inspected to be totally smog legal or pay a hefty fine. I had a high flow cat in my Evo x and the HP and TQ numbers were as good as a catless pipe but I didn't have the stink which easily gave me headaches. Quote:
