Smile Here's my AW 1M

Hey guys,

Im new here. Been reading people's posts for a while, admiring everyone's cars while waiting to finalise a deal with a friend of mine regarding his (now my) 1m. It's a crazy car - after owning a w211 E63 AMG, and a E63 BMW 630i, the 1m is just on another level of fun. Especially with the tuning
Most of the modification has been done by Manhart Racing. Here's the list:

-CF hood painted in white
-CF trunk painted in white
-CF Side mirror covers
-CF rear diffuser (Manhart Racing)
-Manhart Racing ECU tune - EDIT: Detuned to stock then Cobb AP installed.
-Manhart Racing oil cooler
-Manhart Racing intercooler
-Manhart Racing CF Airbox with 72mm piping
-Manhart Racing CF interior package
-Manhart Racing LCD Display (AWRON Gauge, Manhart tweak)
-BMWP Steering
-UUC EVO3 short shift kit
-Angel eyes upgrade
-Akrapovic evolution titanium full exhaust kit w/ cat delete
-Quaife Helical differential

The car is somewhere in the 450hp and 650nm torque range, although I need to run a dyno to be sure.

Any suggestions/comments are always appreciated!

Very NICE car @Narek.

Maybe you would like to see inside Manhart Racing's shop... we toured it awhile back. Those guys were so cool!

Looks like most of your manhart racing parts are just rebranded parts and installed by them.
That gauge is an arwon gauge.
That diffuser could be name brand or replica etc
And that steering wheel is OEM BMW performance wheel not renntech

A lot of the cosmetic stuff could be rebranded, but that doesn't bother me as the quality is really good, so I'm happy with it. As for the performance, the only complaint could be that the boost kicks in a bit late (not sure as I haven't driven stock to compare), but honestly speaking I don't mind that as its convenient for everyday driving. Important thing is the boost is predictable. When I want it to kick in, I can make sure I'm in the right rev range. If I'm just looking to cruise, I can do that without being too tempted - a big difference after the E63 AMG which just had a beast of an engine.

As for the steering wheel, just checked it out and I think you're right. Still prefer it over the leather one!

Welcome to the clan Narek!

Quick question: how does your car cope with the extreme heat of Dubai? Any issues? Especially thinking the mods on your car and if they are thought and further tuned for your location or not. No car loves the excessive heat, turbos sure hate it.

Thanks!

I just acquired the car but the previous owner is my close friend and basically the air intake mods help cool it. As far as my input is concerned i just have to wait a bit for the car to reach optimum temperatures for driving, and while driving when its hot after "playing around", i have to take it easy to let it cool down. To be honest, the only difficult months are mid june to the end of august - ill just have to wait and see!

Thanks. The previous owner did the exhaust change, and I think Akra is a very good choice.

Radical car, dude. It's not the direction I'd go with it, but it's done well, nonetheless. The logos aren't my thing, but if you're going to go with a high end tuner, might as well show it, I suppose.

Hope it brings you plenty of fun miles of motoring bliss. Take care.
