Radio doesn't always work
The base radio in my 2009 vert sometimes doesn't work right. All the times until the last one it would play the radio but would not recognize the aux input. The last time it acted up it would not do anything - wouldn't play the music either. I rarely use the CD player but the last time I did it wouldn't give back the CD. In a couple months it did but for a long time it would say there was no disc - even when it had just been playing it.
Anybody else have these sort of issues? I plan on bringing them up next time I am in for an oil change. Every time it's happend, and it's only ~6 total, it has worked fine the next time I drove the car. Jim

this happened to my '08
there is a tsb where techs install some sort of electronic buffer/resister so the radio doesn't get overloaded with electricity - hence sometimes not working and/or disabled for hardware safety. i mentioned this shit many times over a span of 2 years only to hear "unable to replicate...let us know if it happens again..yadi yada yada" I managed to do a camera phone video of the issue - playing with all the buttons and knobs to no avail... audio'less emailed the video to an sa, car was in for 3 days for a new radio and reprogramming hope this helps, excuse my rant |

The "can't replicate" is what I am worried about. Videoing it is a good idea. Thanks.
