First Roadtrip in the one

We are in the midst of our first road trip in the 1. As it progresses, I will add more pictures of the 1 here, and for all of the pictures, see this set on flickr.

It was a bi-product of the white balancing with the bright sunlight and the objects in the background on a hazy day. The pic in my signature is a better representation of the Montego Blue (that was in direct sunlight as well though) I just didn't feel like playing with the levels beyond the auto white-balancing.

Here is a new one that is more true to the color. I am on my laptop, so I also don't have my normal software, so I am making due with gimp.

The ONE DAY we decide to go up Stelvio Pass, it is closed for bikers. (Meaning it was closed on my B-day....add this to the list of B-day disappointments in my life :-P)

The breaking period is now officially over though!

I hate pictures of myself, but my wife took this one. Hopefully, once we are back in the states, a gastric bypass will take are of my weight problem:

Despite the Stelvio Pass Debacle, we still managed to hit Italy, Liechtenstein and Switzerland today (we started in Austria). We also passed through a REALLY long tunnel in Austria:

Great Pic's. Don't worry about how you look, just have fun! My wife has had a few coworkers who have had success with the operation. I personally think that the nonpermanent rubber-band type of operation, which is reversible is safer. Enjoy the German roads! Hope all goes well with your operation.

Anyway, here is an HDR image of Lake Geneva from Evian-les-baines France. Hopefully more time for pics of the (now very dirty) car tomorrow.
