Help! Rock chip damage on painted wheels!

Hello all,

After going on a long drive over the weekend, I noticed that the black paint on my wheels are damaged, from what I imagine to be from rock chips! Is there a way I can just touch up the spots? Or do I need to completely sand it down and get it spray painted again? If the latter, any recommendations on where to go?

Thanks!

Ann

Thats no rock chip, admit it your just a bad Driver!! lol

just go to super cheap and buy the touch up paint to suit, couple coats to fill out, light sand to get it smooth followed by a matt cleat coat or gloss

Asif! But yeah - the second photo doesn't look like rock chip damage. Not sure what happened there tbh. But when I got home...

But seriously dude, I barely know how to paint my own nails, that business sounds like a lot of work. I tried touching up the hood of the car with Froop a while back after he drove the car in the Snowy Mountains 1000 (the car got peppered), and the finished job does not look pretty. :/

But I'll have a look into it anyhow. Thanks

This guy charges $100 to fully refurbish and paint any wheel, including removing/refitting and balancing the tyre, not like the dodgy mobile repairers who just blend the paint and mask up area/tyre, not to mention he is cheaper than all mobile repairers I have ever been in contact with. Good luck!
