ST coilover noise

Had my coils installed a month ago and since have had a rubbing type sound (no not tires) in the front end. Almost sounds like tire is rubbing on plastic shrouding which it isn't. Only happens when real cold at slow speed with slight turn angle. Doesn't happen at speed or over dips/bumps. Had it into a shop yesterday and everything is tight and installed correctly. Alignment has been done. Any ideas where to look?

Garage List
Are you sure it's not a compressing type sound? I have a compressing type sound on my KW V2's when I go over bumps.

Definitely not audible over bumps it happens mainly on flat road

On a downwards slope and my wheel turned towards the drivers side, my passenger wheel barely rubs against the oil cooler plastic vent...

check your tires for any marks...

Ill double check the plastic in there. I definitely get tire rub but that's an obvious rub this one is faint

I only determined where my rubbing was because I stopped the car after it made the sound and saw where the problem was.

just looking for marks might not help if the rubbing is light...

What wheels do you have? How low are you?

Did you reset your bushings when you were done with the install? It might be the bushings on your lower control arms.

These need to be loosened before you install the suspension, then tightened after the install with the suspension under full load. If you dont, they will tear.

The shop that did the install tightened the control arms under no load so I had the shop yesterday loosen them off up front and tighten them under load. Should this be done in the rear as well? They mentioned that the bushings were intact but there was obvious wear. They weren't certain this was the culprit. Should I order some new bushings and go from there?

Sorry for not mentioning this earlier

Im not sure if your issue will be in the rear, but you should reset any bushing you have to move during the install. They could wear prematurely, or tear.

Here's what's left in the box from the install. Look normal? Anything that should have been installed?
