Question Air Filter

Hi,

I am trying to change the air filter by myself, but I am not sure how to detach the cable (marked in red color) from intake muffler.

Besides, do I need take out the plug (marked in blue color)?

My car is 120i E82 with N46 engine. I am new on DIY, any advise would be much appreciated . Thanks.

Find out that just pull out the sensor cable harder is ok
