Ok I will try and figure it out thanks for the help. Is this BOV Mod really worth it? Any pros or cons by doing this basically will it harm anything down the road?

You'll probably need to top up your oil more often.

This modification has no bearing on oil consumption. It WILL showcase how much of a blow by issue your particular vehicle is experiencing.

To everyone wondering, the car has seen several track days since installing the BMS OCC - "misting" from the blow off valves is borderline non-existent. The only time I see anything is at the track during extremely hard use. For street driving, nothing.

Cool mod. If anyone is planning on going beyond the stock boost of 8 lbs, you may want to upgrade to the new alum charge pipe with a BOV. The OEM charge pipe (plastic) will not last long when approaching 20 lbs of boost. They tend to crack, just an FYI..

My pipe seems to be holding up very well. Will this crack be evident? I hear so many talks about this crack and surprise that mine is still intact from all the spirit driving.

Funny you should say that. I absolutely detonated my old stock CP. Got a new one from the dealership right before I went out of warranty. They said the pipe was stronger. Been completely fine on this one.

Was the new chargepipe any different or felt stronger than the first OEM one?

First one felt sort of brittle to me. New one feels more flexible if anything. No different at TB inlet.

Where does this crack happen at? I'm curious where to start looking out. will it be a hairline crack or piece of the pipe just disappears?

Typically around the mouth, tends to pop off, crack, or explode. You can lose your C-clip as well, which BMW does not sell individually.

Or you're just not driving the car hard enough.
