ahhh can't decide :\
been a lurker for a long ass time now and i'm very impress with your guys 135i's
but the dilema is a fully loaded 135i vs a base e92 m3. what would you pick? :roundel: want a head turner + power to have fun at track days. i'm actually torn between 3 cars 2009 porsche cayman s black 2009 m3 coupe white/cf 2009 135i alpine/red |

2009 BMW 135i because you could add a Dinan Stage 2 tune, KW suspension, new wheels, and tires and many other goodies to make the 135i a formidable track car over a Porsche Cayman or an M3. Though an M3 then Porsche Cayman S would be next in that order following the 135i. Just my opinion though.

If I were you I would get the M3 because you said you wanted a head turner and something to have fun with on track days. The M3 is the ultimate driving machine and will be the most powerful car that you mentioned. However, the 135i is a great car and I am more than happy with the performance that it has. It is also a great daily car and is very practical. If you plan to do any future modifications to your car, the 135i has lots of potential and can be made to go even faster!

they are all very different cars, you better test drive them all
if your buying based on looks alone, I prefer the cayman S but if your buying based on how they drive, 135i all the way

i guess the concept of "headturner" is relative....my head snaps around more if i see a M3/135i compared with seeing the hundreds of Caymans/Boxsters on South FL streets. but YMMV....
you didn't mention price being a factor, so for me it's M3 all the way. it's higher performance than the 135i (stock vs stock) and has more of that wow factor that you seem to be wanting. i chose the 135i because i was ok with a little less performance, didn't care about turning heads, and wanted to keep another $20k in my pocket...but price no object i would've gone with the M3 for sure |

I'm with Buckwheat986 Cayman S is a head turner... Everytime I see one which isn't too often in MI I just watch it drive but usually it is a jerryattric behind the wheel in the slow lane going 45MPH.

the m3's are so much bigger, it's really surprising me how many 1 series owners consider a 3 series
maybe they should have got 335i's instead, I would never buy a 3 series for myself, just too big
