JohnG has started posted his photos on his smugmug site. At the moment there are a few animated GIFs for your enjoyment. He didn't want to post all 300 photos straight away because then the animated GIFs would have been harder to find.

Fiona and I were talking about one nasty moment we had on Sunday. Driving along the Tourist Road, we approached a right-hand kink with a slight rise at the apex, doing roughly the speed limit but well above the advised speed. I had the car all settled for the kink, completely within my own lane, and was starting to accelerate through the corner. Then got the shock of my life when I saw an oncoming Falcon travelling very quickly, and straddling the double lines :eyebulge:. I remember swerving to the left and backing off just before the crest. We must have only just missed clipping mirrors. Fiona said she had her eyes closed and was waiting for the crunch. Very scary moment. I eased off after that potentially life-changing moment.

I remember seeing the Falcon. I was at the back of the field he was still travelling pretty quick and in the middle of the road. We had plenty of time to move over though but it was mostly me doing the moving over.
