KW V2 coilovers from e88 to e82

Hi guys

I have a question I can't find it on the net so I post it here.
I can buy kW v2 coilovers but they come from a e88 convertible version
I have a e82 coupe.
Is there any difference between the convertible version and the regard coupe for the coilovers ?

The coilovers article number on the box is 15220062

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks in advance.

What are the part numbers on the springs?

On my KWv3 kit for the E82 (35220039) they are 18E12 and 38E12. I have been told the springs are the same for all E 82 KWv1-3 kits.

I don't know about the e88 kits. Curious to hear if either part number is the same.

I have also read the following about the 335 KW rates.

All the spring rate info I have was either from load testing, hand calculated or got the information from the vendor. KW v1 thru v3 use the same spring. The newer e90 applications now use KW 2023 (285 lb/) and KW 2017 (630 lb/in).

I strongly doubt they have different versions for the E88 and E82. My STs are just E8x specific, and the Ohlins I'll be replacing them with in the summer are the same way. The vert isn't THAT much heavier.

Thanks you for the replys guys !
That was my fort thoughts either.
That would be not logic to make for those 2 series different coilovers but it could.
@135iam: I can't see the spring numbers on the pictures I got from the seller.
I'm gonna text him and ask him to send those to me.

Once again thanks guys.
