thats really cool! Wish I could stop by there someday. They are making us learn all the old technology as well to pass the state exam. Our boilers like have an off/on switch and thats it. good thing probably when working with 2 - 950 Boiler horsepower.

The little 5HP Hamburg is wood fired, the 20 HP McKenna is oil fired with an off/on switch, the 100 HP Eclipse Lookout is started with wood and when there is enough pressure the steam is used to inject oil.

We had everything running last Sunday. Stop by on October 2 for Steam-Up so you can see everything demonstrated.

I dunno that much about him yet. sophmore from miami of ohio. just turned 21 though.

I was told to put the drawing of the thingamajigger on the lead maintenace mans desk for him to work on in his spare time. prob be finished by the weekend!

Well, after some thought about the dohickie and welding all some shit together it was decided to just cut one of the washers to the exact diameter need to be placed on top of a pipe coupling. Should provide the most surface area.
