Fuel Additives?

Found a video
on a fuel additive named CleanBoost Maxx. According to the test, on a dyno that connects directly to the wheel hub, the result after three runs was:

hp without additive 167, 163, 161
hp with additive 172, 171, 172

torque ft-lbs without additive 129, 126, 123
torque with additive 134, 132, 132

A slight increase in hp and torque but I also like the more consistent values.

What say you experts because I certainly know very little about cars.

Won't do much on a car with direct injection.

I guess I liked the stability of numbers more than the hp but I will give Royal Purple at look at. Thanks for your comment and suggestion.

There is not much to clean on direct injection. With standard fuel injection, the fuel is at least cleaning the valves. And with the pressures of direct injection (6000 PSI) I really doubt there would be anything on the injectors that has not already been blown off by the fuel pressure.

Thank you for the info. I have found there is always something new to learn.

Do you happen to know how much of the RPMB is added to how many gallons of fuel?

Use top tier gasoline and you won't ever need to use an additive.

Valero .. Costco... you can look up the others. Costco is 20 cents cheaper per gallon in my area.
