brake pad sensor - miles left for pads service

Hi,

The other day I was driving my 135i (14k miles) in the city drived accross a medium hole going around 60 mph... a loud noise but the tyre and rim seems fine.

The day after that I noticed that the computer says that my front brake pads have around 700 miles left...

Is it possible that the bump made this or is it just coincidence? What do you think?

Thanks!

At 14k miles?

Bump must have messed up the sensor for sure.

My car is showing brakes due at 110,000 km.

How can we tell how many miles/kms are left to change brake pads?

Should be in your BC stalk, unless you have iDrive, then it's under Vehicle Info
