My sunroof is inoperable......
Luckily it stopped working while closed. No function at all when I hit the lever to open it. And its not covered by my warranty.
Anybody have this happen to them? Could it be a fuse? Any idea what a replacement motor costs? Can this be a DIY project to replace the motor? Thanks for any help or suggestions...... |

Hm. Interested in the details as I use mine every day, and other than a horrible rattle that's developed recently, it's still fine. For now.

at night, with the keys in and the car in the on position (but motor not running), depress the button. if the cabin light dims a bit, that's normally a sign that the motor is toast.
Here's the PN for the emergency crank: 54107199321. You should be able to access the motor through the dome light. |
