Window closes part way, goes back down

When I do a long press on the fob lock button, the sunroof closes and both windows start to close. The passenger side closes all the way; the driver's side closes about 6" then retracts to fully open. Any ideas what's up here?

2013 135 Is
with comfort access (which I already know is slightly problematic. i.e., doesn't work on driver's side)

Are these the same root issue? Or two different problems?

Do you have a way to read for codes? I would start there.

Yes, it goes all the way up with a flick of that switch.

And, I don't have a way to read any codes.

First Step: replace the battery in your key fob - just to rule that out . . . and put a trickle charger on your car's main battery overnight as well

Low battery can have strange effects on ComfortAccess functionality - although your pass side works, so prob will be the CA module on Driver's side
But worth a try . . .
How old is your battery?
