It is fixed. Was busy all weekend with kid stuff, so finally got around to installing the old hose and inspecting the new one this evening.

I could probably my knock out a water pump and thermostat change with a bleed in a couple hours now. Right about the time you become an expert in something, you don't need to know it anymore.

There was a small hole in the new hose. Maybe i somehow put it there, but i sure don't know how I would have done it.

With that scuff down the side, it almost looks like you ended up with a damaged return (unless the scuff was a result of your install).

That scuff (you can see the rubber starting to appear micro cracked vertically along the outside radius) is from me rubbing it with my thumb after taking it off. Looks like shit rubber to me. New Rein piece from FCP.

Well, good news is that FCP warranties their parts, so hopefully there shouldn't be any issue getting a replacement.

I've been considering tweaking my suspension feel with sway bars. I also have a base car that I converted to refreshed sport suspension. Other mods are a touch of front camber (Dinan fixed plates) and RSFB inserts - both of which were 100% an improvement.

I still have the base front sway bar, and I added a 15mm rear bar off of a 328xi. It feels good, but I haven't thrashed on the car quite enough yet in its current state to be sure how I feel about the balance. It's definitely a little more edgy, like the rear threatens to step out more easily when powering through turns (which I love lol). Was thinking about beefing up the front bar to even it out a bit, maybe a front bar off a sport package E90.

What is your impression of your M3 bars on this car? I know a lot of people are hesitant to go too beefy on the rear bar because it tends to lift a tire easily, but I also wonder if there's more grip to be gained by going with a matched set F/R.

It's running like a top. No issues. I have not installed the rear m3 bar. Little concerned about inner tire fire. But really more due to laziness. Did an oil change the other day, and switched over to winter tires. Car continues to be leak free and does not consume oil.
The car continues to put a smile on my face driving to work and around town.

I am thinking about selling to get something a little bigger. It's hockey season now, and with two kids and my coaching stuff, it's a tight fit.

See, now an E82 and an E91 are the perfect daily driver duo. You just need to add the E91 to the mix.

I slapped a new battery in yesterday. Car has been starting sluggish for a little while, and this did the trick.
O'Reilly supplied a h6 48ext battery. Installed easily and registered to the car with Carly.
