The 2013 128i 6MT in Mineral Grey at Freehold NJ is the one I'm currently in negotiations with. Fingers crossed.

I must be old...so old, I remember when Eddie Murphy was funny. Every Time I see the title of this thread, I hear "wookin' pa nub" in my head.

I wasn't even looking for a 1er, I was looking to replace my E46 and a 6MT 125i popped up on Autotrader with a bit of a barebones spec admittedly but I'm not into all the computer screens in the cockpit anyway, took the leap and I've put more miles on this car than any other I've previously owned I've really enjoyed it.

I'm putting my 135is up on carsandbids. It's attractive to sellers because the listing is free. Like BaT they're a little picky about what they will accept, so it's also attractive to buyers. In fact, I see a 2008 135 6mt vert in Sparkling Graphite with 80k miles on there now - Cali car.

Where do you see that sparking graphite car? Can’t find a live listing for the car you’re describing on BaT or C&B

Picked up 32k mile 08 128i sport on Cars & Bids last year. Already put 6k miles on it in like 7 months. Love driving it and the manual sport seats are very nice. BUT! I purchased as a fun little inexpensive and reliable GT coupe for my wife and I to weekend road trip, not for track, so no interest in paying the 6MT premium would have been thousands. And really, the 6AT with sport steering wheel and paddle shifters is more versatile. Beauty of C&B in this instance was the great history provided. Oil change ever year or couple thousand miles for this one since new. That N52 gonna be good for easy 250k miles? Probably. Cheers all.

In an interesting turn of events I've found a 2005 330Ci vert, 1-owner, 74k mi, Sparkling Graphite Metallic, 100% original and a trunk full of service paperwork. I'm going to enjoy this car for a while but I'll most certainly come back around for a newer 1-series later. Thank you all for the help and support! If the sun is out, I'll see you on the streets!
