Evo to 135i
New here! Picked up my 2010 silver 135i M-Sport on Tuesday night (8-7-12) and love it so far! I wanted Alpine white but no one near had one and this was was priced nicely
Anyways I have had two Evo X's before this and definitely consider this a trade up, they were great and all I just missed the 2 door coupe RWD fun! I don't have plans to mod it yet, I want to play with the car stock first and get a nice feel for how it drives before adding toys. I do however want to change audio out ASAP, I ended up with the base system and it's a joke. I could go into Walmart and pick up a better system. Never heard so much crackling in my life! Definitely expected more out of BMW. These pictures are at the dealer, dropping off Evo and picking up 135! |

Nice upgrade. I have the premium sound in my 135i and think it is outstanding. I'm thinking the previous owner on yours put yours to work a little too hard... Either way, good luck with your new ride and happy modding

Congrats bro. Still waiting for mine. I wanted alpine white as well an couldn't find any equipped how I wanted in the right color so I'm having the agonizing wait of it being on order. It will all be worth it tho.

The Evo X was actually the top car on my list when I was car shopping a couple years ago. However, I lived in Germany at the time so getting an Evo was out of the question. So I went with my #2, the BMW. I couldn't be happier.
Congrats on the new car! |

Congrats on the new ride. I totally agree with you on the stereo system. The non HK system is crap, especially comparing it to other car makers that come with superb stereo systems standard.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. My non HK system sounds outstanding, definitely better than any of the stock systems I've heard in previous cars. It sounds to me like something might be blown in the OP's system. No way do I get any crakling.

I found out it is the cord they gave me. The connection must be terrible because my Sirius plays fine. It's not great quality by any means but it is better than listening to my phone for now.
