I see from your signature you have quite a few mods. We can arrange a dyno day for everyone to come here and see what your mods will do vs a 135 with just tune, scoops and exhaust. Im still running stock dp, stock filter, etc. We will do 20 runs each on the dyno with 15 seconds between each run. The entire session can be videod and EVERYONe here is welcome to come watch.

Any chance youll do a center exit or just twin left side like OE? I'm not sold on the aftermarket quad setups.

The M3 one is less than our 135i one. The labor hours it takes us to make each one is different by about 6 hours. Believe, me, I would love to find ways to cut costs down as I dont like to make something and then have everyone bash the price right? It just doesnt make sense. But if Im going to lose on something I might as well not make it. Im going to check the intake stock with Rennspec and see if they can throw an intake in with the exhaust too.

I see you used a V-Band clamp after the muffler. Is there any chance you can replace the other slip-joint splices with V-Bands or is there not enough room?

We tried that with the 535 exhaust too and there just wasnt enough room for the install. Remember, each v-band connection increases cost significantly.

Im pretty stocked about the car though. Im gettnig the VST hood put on soon, new wheels and hopefully ESS will be here soon to tune the car. I was getting 40+whp on the low/mid range but because of the exhaust flow the top end was being brought down by the DME. Also, last week I put the beatdown on an E92 M3 (modded) . hahah

I figured it was about not having enough room. I understand about the cost but I figured that with a $3,000 exhaust a couple high-quality clamps could be absorbed into the unit cost.

I hear ya. Im not sure if you guys have seen my posts on m3post where I posted pics of our manufacturing. Thats the cost of doing things here. All of us Americans want more and more $. hahahaha. I'd love to get a chance to meet all of you sometime though. We have a some dyno days coming up so if you guys are in the area, you should come by. It would be cool to show you guys some of the other stuff we do here. Its always fun to explain to other car nuts how and why stuff works so they can decide for themselves what products is the right choice for them. There are too many ridiculous claims from people that really dont know any better. For me, if I see something, I want to know why and how it works and WHY its better than stock.

On the other hand, going with the slip on joints in the front gives the installer some adjustability when installing the exhaust. With our 911tt system, we saw that some of the diffusers were a little different than some other cars. Our system used all v-bands on that exhaust so some people had fitment issues. We later saw thats why Porsche used that accordian type stock exhaust to help with fitment issues.

I would like to see what this does on a dyno with a high tune like jb3 or procede. Why not just hook up one of those really quick and do some dynos.

Because I dont like piggybacks. Why not just do a real tune on the DME? Im very happy with the ESS tune on my car and I will run it on the dyno against anyone with a piggy back on their car with similar mods. I have already offered to do 10-15 back to back pulls with my car and a piggyback car and if I lose, I will pay for the dyno session and I will buy you lunch.

Best yet. Dyno his car, and install your exhaust. Then dyno again. That will put your 40hp claim in thruth...

*sigh. did you not read the above posts? I already mentioned it. lol. I've already done that. If Im going to go through the trouble, let me know if anyone want to put money down on it. All are welcomed to watch.

Here is what was done. If you did the same, you WILL get the same results.

1. rpi scoops
2. ess tune
3. exhaust

If you do the same, yes, you WILL get the same dyno results. Im waiting for ESS to come here to see if they can get rid of that top end drop so if any of you want to learn about tuning and exhaust design, you can come out and watch us do work on the dyno.

with all due respect... i don't know RPI but if you think 40 hp is horse crap go put your money down. I would love to see that occur. Although, if any money is wager, the Dyno should probably be done by another independent shop for neutrality. =) Starting to become Paquiao and Mayweather up in here... all talk but no one wants to put it on the line...lol

Exactly. A lot of people can talk but I have made the offer. Who wants to put a wager on it? And please done come with stupid requests like "give me an tune and exhaust and I will test it." For those who dont believe it but wont step up or dont have the money for it, please just move onto the next thread. Go ahead and research me to see if I have ever BS'd anyone. Who cares though. I keep making the offer but no one wants to step up. lol

Ok sorry if I seem a little impatient sometimes. Its just that I go through this over and over again with different forums and in the end its always the same result. So, please read this before posting other type of arguments. Either put up or say nothing at all because its going to be a never ending argument until someone humiliates you.

AGAIN. The car has my scoops on it. OK. AJ and Roman from ESS came here and tuned the car. OK. I made an exhaust (different prototypes with dynos) and here is my dyno sheet. It did gain 40+hp but also dropped on the top end because the tune was not made for this new exhaust. The reason their is a big jump in the midrange is because of the exhaust design. The turbos spool up so quickly that in the higher rpm range, they simply just run out of breath or efficiency.

If you want to do the same thing here, you are welcomed to try it. I have the car and I love driving it. We are all after the same thing here....and thats to make our cars faster.

So you have to have the ESS tune to get the 40+ HP. You guys know damn well everyone uses JB's and PROcedes. What gains do you get on a STOCK 135i? That's what you should be testing since that's what you're marketing. We want stock numbers or at least with a POPULAR tune.

+1 that was what I was trying to get at. If you can reproduce around the same numbers this way you will sell alot of these. Running a custom tune for that exhaust and showing those dyno numbers is misleading. Either do a stock run for run or one of the popular tunes jb3/procede.
