I tried putting the last 7 numbers of this VIN (tried it a few times) in http://bimmer.work and nothing came up.

I tried mine and my previous 1er and both worked fine.

Typo?

Agreed, but shouldn’t it show up in Bimmer.work or is that just for “is”?

http://bimmer.work hasn't been 100% reliable these days. Found it in another VIN decoder. 135i with M Sport package and DCT. LeMans Blue. Nice enough. That's what I have... except mine is a 2011.

Welcome!

Edit - you guys were posting quickly between the time I started and finished my post - sorry for the redundant info!

Go to BMWVIN.com and enter the last 7 of your VIN - if it's an "is" model, your will see this code:

P7MFA Sports Edition - this was available for the 2013 MY only

You will also see the factory 313 wheels:
S2NFA BMW LA wheel, M Double Spoke 313

For a factory M Sport edition (which you have), you will see these:

P337A M Sports package
S2MRA BMW LA wheel, dual spoke 261

I have an "is" coupe and an "M sport" vert - both have sport seats, M sports suspension (as do all 135) and the overall drive is pretty similar. The PPK2 gives an extra 20 hp, and an extra radiator in the driver side wheel well and some additional hardware under the hood.

The vert is DCT, which shifts more quickly than my left foot and right hand, so it actually feels just as quick as the MT6 coupe, even though it isn't. The most apparent differences are the 313 wheels and the performance exhaust, with pops and burbles included. The wife HATES that exhaust, thus the non "is" vert.

Blue stitched seats were an "is" exclusive option, but other than that, if you spend some $$ on a PPK kit, the PE and a set of 313...you'll have something very close. Personally, I'd say enjoy it unchanged for a while then decide if you think you need the mods. My vert is going to get wider front tires and maybe some whitelines for the rear suspension, but I think it's good to go other than that. It's a fun in the sun car, I won't be taking it to the track anytime soon

Rjgess, here's what comes with the M Sport package:

ZMP M Sport Package
2MR 18" wheels w/performance tires (style 261M)
337 Sport Package
481 Sport seats
710 M steering wheel
or 7XA Sport steering wheel w/paddles
760 Shadowline exterior trim
775 Anthracite headliner
840 Increased top speed limiter

Don't think you get the Anthracite headliner, and not sure if anything else from the list above is left off the vert. Maybe Bama335 knows since he has a convertible as well.

You can buy mine, https://www.bmwoffairfax.com/used/BMW/2013-BMW-135is-fairfax-25ff5c610a0d0cc773e97d68b223961b.htm

Not sure where you’re located but I was the 3rd and last owner, up to date on maintenance and had the entire cooling system done. It also has the Dinan stage 2 flash. Fun car!

If you do go see it, ask for Rudy!

Checking in with #423

Purchased it back in Nov '17, knocking out all the maintenance items first then hopefully start on upgrading the suspension and bushings.

Its such a fun car to drive!

#19 / 586 checking in!

Absolutely loving the car and the sound! Although I did have to have a DCT Transmission leak fixed at 12k miles only :/

I'm about to pick one of these bad boys up but it has no badges How do you guys know what number you have? I hope it is legit, but it has everything an is would have save for the badges. Actually, the car I'm looking at the PO took off all the is badges and replaced them with ///M badges. First thing I'm going to do is get out the heat gun and dental floss!

Here's the list of 135is coupes:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=332

Here's the list of US 135is convertibles and Canadian M Sport Edition convertibles:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...&postcount=329

You didn't specify if you were buying a 135is coupe or vert.

Did he even take off the glove box badge and replace it with an ///M?

God, I know kids do this but I'm still surprised every time I hear/see a car covered in fake M badges. So embarrassing.

Esteban, thanks for that list! It is a vert and I guess it is #58

Swunder, yes they ripped off the glove box badge and replaced it with an ///M badge as well. Oh, they also painted the 313s black but lucky for me I have a fresh set of 313 sitting in storage!

Mineral gray w/ 60k miles. Well it is between that and a GLA45 AMG for me.

So the VIN matches up to #58? Curious, because you say "I guess it is #58," like you're not sure.
