CSR eyelids?

Anyone have a source for these NIB? I've been resisting eyelids on this car for a long time, but finally decided that they might help the look - trouble is, the CSR's are the only ones I like and for some odd reason they're pretty much impossible to buy unless you live in Germany.

I got these carbon fiber eyelids from Jpcarbon. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=321102594291

They were pretty good fit with 3m tape but are really thin so be careful with installing them. My passenger eyelid suffered from a few hair line cracks but JPcarbon sent me a new one .

Thanks for posting pics of these. I came across them a couple of weeks ago, but have never saw them installed. What do you think about the quality? Ease of installation? The nice thing about these is you don't have to paint.

The quality was good. They are really thin so you can mold them to fit perfect around the headlights. The install was easy but don't use the 3m tape the vendor sends with it bc its not that durable. Get the automotive 3m tape from autozone. And dont press too hard bc they are thin.

Yes, I am really happy with them. Had them for a few months now and so far they are holding up fine with no yellowing or flying off at 100+mph. Plus cant beat the price for $60 shipped.

I'm still not sure I love the fit of my CSR lids. And they rub on the inside edge of the hood over time so the paint comes off.

Yeah, I've seen a few used ones for sale that have had that problem with chipped paint. Honestly, these JP Carbon eyelids are growing on me more and more - I like how flush they are with the headlamp. Most of the other eyelids seem as if they're meant to look like an extension of the trunk and fender, and it ends up just accentuating the gaps between all the parts. The fact that these sit sort of right on the headlamp and are not color-matched make them look more like part of the headlamp assembly rather than a weird extra body panel, if that makes sense.

The one I have doesn't rub and chip the paint bc it sits flush on the headlights. JPCarbon is awesome too. He sent me a new passenger side bc I pressed too hard on it causing a really tiny hairline crack on the corner. He didn't hesitate to send me a new passenger side eyelid even though it was my fault. Very awesome seller!!
