Time to contribute - My JB 135i
Hey all -
I had a 2006 E90 until April. The lease was almost up, but couldn't wait any longer. I had to get my 135i. I've been soaking in all the info contributed here passively when I had my E90. Since I picked up my new 135i I have been lurking around here at 1Addicts almost daily. I figure it is time to show some love and put up a few pics of my new baby. This is the first car I've had that I have done any mods to and I have to say it is so freakin addicting. It is very hard to not max out the credit cards and go crazy. I've been trying to pace my self with moderate success. I have to say thanks to the guys that have posted the DIY's for the grilles, performance pedals, and CF spoiler. They proved to be invaluable. Also thanks to some of the vendors on this site. I got my grilles from modbargins, my CF spoiler from Jlevi, my pedals from Dan at United, and my GTS-R's from Gill at tiretrack. Splitters from fmxomar are enroute as we speak. And I am drooling over the Meisterschaft Touring HP exhaust. A special thanks go to Gill and Dan for what I would call GREAT customer service. I love my car. Here are a few pics.

Yeah, if you are referring to white angels, I would really like to. I'm concerned, though, that I may loose some of the brightness if I make the switch. I've spent a lot of time pondering the various possibilities and all the ones I have seen seem to sacrifice some brightness, either during the day or when the xenons are on. I guess I'm waiting for a perfect solution.
And my other problem is that this in one thing I do not trust myself to do. I've read so may posts from other guys on here that they are a total pain to change. I'm always open to suggestions though.

Just don't do EFX, I'm pretty sure everything else I've heard and seen are good. Its definitely a mod you can do yourself as it doesn't take too much skill but more patience. The hardest part as you've probably heard is putting the covers back on, everything else is not hard to do. |

Short answer, yes. But lowering falls farther down my priority list. I really like the performance side skirts. And I'm kicking around either a Meisterschaft exhaust or a Dinan stage 2. For most people that would probably be a no-brainer - GET THE TUNE!!!! But I can't get the awesome sound of that exhaust out of my head and this car is not exactly slow just as it is. Financially, it has to be one or the other right now, not both, until I win the lottery, of course.

I see your point. Thanks for the input. So many decisions to make, such little time (and never enough money).

I've pretty much got the same setup going though I have stock grilles and the Perf exhaust. Are you considering eyelids? I think they would make a black-on-black look wickedly aggressive. That's probably what I'm going to do next.

Yeah, I do want to get some eyelids too, but so far I'm not in love with any that I have seen so far - although I do admit I have not looked around all that much. I've thought about possibly making my own so they will be shaped exactly how I want, but I have not bothered looking for a suitable material yet.

Thanks guys. It sure is a pain in the ass to keep clean. This is my first black car but I knew the risks. The reward, of course, is that when she is clean she is beautiful.
