Cf mirror cap request

I got the carbon fiber mirror caps from adamaster and would like to know where I should put the tape on them. These are just covers not the housing and came with some 3m tape. Please help, I really dont want to screw this up.

Around the edge of the caps is probably best as this is where water tends to seep in. Also, add some in the centre for added strength/support!

let us know what kind of tape you used and if you're happy with the install. I'm debating on staying white or putting mine on.

Thats exactly what I did. Make sure to put enough tape around all the edges.

Hey, how did you make out with the install? I got mine and wanted to be sure that there weren't any issues.
