You can always put your name or initials, like 4(insert name) Actually, that's kinda lame. I think it's more subtle if you don't get anything. Unless, it's really smart and cool (and none of the ones you listed fall into that category), it'll seem like you are desperate for attention. Your car already gets attention - save the $30 a year.

Also, I saw a new Viper one time that said "Poyznus"

That was pretty creative.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Jim Beam bourbon, and since my name is Jim, I really wanted a plate that read "JIM BIM" but to the lay, people would read it "JIM B-eh-M" and not "BEAM" as in bimmer, so then I guess it really woudn't have worked. But I still get an E for effort.

LEDZEP is still really cool. I'm a HUGE Zeppelin fan! I want to get in a band really bad, I've been playing keyboard/piano for 14 years now. I'd be the John Paul Jones of the band...I play keyboards and bass guitar.

There's not a lot of glory for guys like JPJ...Page Plant and Bonzo got all the credit, but JPJ basically put (and kept) the whole band together.

You should hear my Kurzweil with the classic keys expansion board. I play a mean "No Quarter"

No Quarter - particular the live version from TSRTS is one of my favorite Zep tunes. The subtle nuiances are amazing - though I have to admit, most of the time I am appreciating the amazing percussion. JPJ was arguably the 'musician' of the band and I always felt he was dissed. Unfortunately, his over-contribution to In Through The Out Door made me realize why they didn't ask his opinion more in earlier years.

I managed a couple of bands. It's very hard work, but much harder if you don't keep it fun. Keep it fun and make it about the music.

I get a lot of honks and thumbs up on the road for the tag. That is, when I'm not getting honks and middle fingers.

My only restriction is that it can't be more than 6 characters, only letters and numbers, and you are allowed one space or hyphon. Here are a few of my favs.

Whaa??? You mean you don't like Carouselambra??? Yeah, I'll admit that album is a bit overboard with the Yamaha GX-1. I sometimes wonder if the ITOD album was sponsored by Yamaha to promote that synth

But even so, In The Evening, Fool In the rain, and All My Love are COMPLETE GENIUS nonetheless.

Did you know most of those synth sound (I'm gonna crawl, all my love, carousel) were all played from that GX-1. The story behind that is that keyboard was an experimental synth from Yamaha and somehow Led Zeppelin got a hold of it. I think the only other performers in the world to have one are Elton John and Stevie Wonder...but don't quote me.

I think I remember reading the reason JPJ contributed so much to that album is because that was right around the time Robert Plant's kid died and the band was almost broken up.

Sorry everyone for the off topic...but whenever there's Zeppelin matters to discuss, I'm right there!

True. Plant was not really available for the writing, etc. Also agree with you on In The Evening... I should REALLY go off topic and post a photo I took of Plant in concert. One of my best concert photos ever (used to be a photographer)
