Brand of downpipe matters?

Not sure if this has been talked about it...I'm sure it has but does AR design really make a better flowing downpipe because of it build quality/welds and design? I trading in my 135i for a newer 1 and I have my old berk 4 inch for the n55 and I am thinking I will not get any more performance between a brand new ar design downpipe and my 2 year old berk. Anyone want to shine a light on this...Thanks.

On the N55 I don't think it makes any difference as long as both downpipes being compared are catless.

If two given pipes are catless you won't be able to measure a difference.

If they fit and are in good shape stick with them.

The only difference between downpipes is generally fitment and quality. If you've already confirmed both then there's no need to spend the money again
