Latest Nav Maps

Just a heads up guys, BMW is doing the latest maps for our cars for only 140 dollars installed.

I think they have learned their lesson that Australian public wont be gauged.

Pretty cheap I think.

Updated roads

Bluetooth streaming works perfectly, but this can be done by just downloading the latest firmware by vin number from here http://www.bmw.com.au/com/en/owners/...re_update.html

Just punch in your vin and it will give you the latest firmware

Then go to BMW and get the latest maps

A lot on new roads since 2012 which my car came with, the latest is 2015.

Garage List
2008 BMW 135i  [8.66]
I assume this is only for the hard drive based CIC iDrive? I understand BMW no longer produce DVDs for the CCC system.

That bluetooth firmware is not for the 08-09 cars I gather?

Don't buy the Nav discs for $99. They can be downloaded for nothing. Just torrent it. It's not even a disc you update from anyway, u need the files on a USB stick that you plug into the glove box.

It's the FSC code you need to pay for, but there are cheaper ways than buying from BMW even at $140. If u want it legit from BMW pay your 140 though.

I thought FSC generators were around for ages on torrents and forums? Never bothered to look into it further as I have the old business M-ASK nav though.

If people stop buying/paying BMW will stop making updates.

So if you guys want to support future updates it wont hurt to pay a little.

I agree before the updates where ridiculously expensive but 140 bucks is not bad.

And how do you know the maps aren't corrupted, a lot of people have said that after they updated with a torrent map their maps where off, just do a search.

I rather pay to bmw than some shady little shit. How do you know that money is not going to some terror group or much worse.
