Same thing happened to me about a year ago. One of the mpst frustrating things in the world! They stole my radar detector and iPod. Now I make sure everything is out of sight when I park my car.

sorry to hear that. the fact is you can't leave anything of value in your vehicle unattended, period. yes, even in the best neighborhood. that's where the crooks prowl.

I wish there was more you could do to protect your stuff from vermin like that. I feel for you. The only counsel I'd offer (not that you need my advice) is to lock stuff like radar detectors, GPSs, iPods etc out of sight. Anything in sight is an incentive for one of these sub-humans to smash and grab. I once had someone slash open the top of my Miata for a pack of cigarettes someone left in my car. And I don't even smoke!!!!!!!

thx for the support guys. I just ordered a Valentine V1 and will replace the window tomorrow. I'm also going to get a Viper alarm system but I dunno which one yet. Saw one that works with the iPhone but couldn't get much info off it on the internet
