GP Thunder H8 - 7500k vs 8500k
Hi Guys
Any difference between 7500K and 8500K. Which one will be more matching to the factory HID Xenon bulb? Thanks. |

I've tried both and honestly they're about the same. The GP thunders, while cheap, won't actually get you a pure white color. That's why so many people pony up the money for LED or HID kits. Simple bulb replacements like the GPs are a step better than the ugly yellow stock angel eyes, but they aren't really "pure white". I'd get the 8500K because it's, in theory, closer to a white color. Though honestly you probably won't be able to tell the difference.

8500 is your best bet for this. While not "pure white" like posted above you still can get a brighter and more "white" color than stock OEM.
If you truly want the pure white, go with HID/LED upgrades.

Thanks guys, as long as it matches close to the factory Xenon
HID colour temperature. I want it to look stock, HID angels comes with ballast, need to drill holes through the housing. I will get 8500k then. |
