They really should FILL UP the holes in those bucket seats. Some idiot might put a 4pt harness in that car without a roll cage or 6pt harness.

Why do you think we're not getting them in the US. The BMW Legal Powers That Be are afraid of exactly that!

The door handles are STILL the onlythings in stock. They keep teasing us with this stuff. Then not bringing it.

It's still there, just hard to see (and explain). In the space where a harness would fit through the back of the seat is the same type of latch to fold the seat forward. In the pic you can barely see where it's a touch thicker, that's the latch/handle.

thank you for that bit of information. does it work in the same way as it does with the sport seats?

has anyone tried to check whether rear seat knee room is any less with the performance seats or the same as with standard seats?

For sure the rear passengers would have more room with the tii sport seats. They are very shallow. Tomorrow I'm paying a visit to the Landsthul BMW dealer (again) that has a 1er in the showroom completely outfitted with tii parts. I'll adjust the seat to my norm and then sit in the back to see the difference in leg room.

Okay???

So BMW can afford lawyers...but they can't get the lawyers to allow them to get the Recaros in the BMW....however, Mitsubishi who CAN'T afford lawyers can get recaros in their evos?

What do you guys think of the color of the leather in the car with these seats. As you see if I want to get those seats I cannot get for ex. lemon leather as it will look just out of place. The pictures of the back seat is ,for my eye, a little to bright to say it is black leather....
So i am not sure...

it looks like black leather to me. i agree that if you want to get the tii seats a major drawback is that there is only one colour you can specify for the interior!

Yes and now I am not sure what to choose: red interior and forget about seats or black interior and after a while change a seats.. it is a little dumb that we cannot order those with the car... so once I will buy the performance seats what am i going to do with the old seats...?
