New 2011 135i - slight external modifications
Hey guys, I just purchased this 2011 135i and decided to do some external modifications... I was not a big fan of the 'plain' back and wanted it to look a bit more aggressive while keeping it somewhat subtle... What do you guys think?
I first purchased new BMW emblems, blacked out 135i signs, and the BMW Carbon Fiber rear spoiler (not cheap)... Then I purchased matt black grills and the Lux Angel Eyes V5 H8 and set it to 12k - to compliment the 'Deep Sea Blue Pearl' color Finally got the CF rear diffuser... - and waiting for the tow hook cover from the dealership... |

No, I couldn't justify $1400 for the OEM CF diffuser. Only the spoiler is the CF OEM version since I read that it doesn't fit flush like the E82 vs the E88 convertible...

Decided to plastidip the wheels - as powdercoating was a bit more expensive than I originally thought and the average wait time is 5 business days... This took me 7 hours for all 4 wheels...

Better! Get them powdercoated though. Will knock your socks off compared to plastidip.

Thanks guys! Here are a few more pictures...
I used RaggTopp convertible top cleaner, chemical guys high gloss quick detailer. Soon I will get rid of the run flats, and put on Michellin Pilot Super Sports - and found a guy who can powdercoat all 4 wheels for $600 and a 1 day turnaround time |

So I haven't posted in a while and decided to stop on one of GW Parkways scenic overlook passes (for those familiar with the DMV area) and take some pictures. As I am doing so, I hear wheels screech as someone smashes into the back of another car on the opposite side of the highway. Thankfully no one was hurt and it was just a fender bender.
Anyways, here are the pics... |

Looking good! I love to cruise the GW. I'm usually on the south end near Alexandria.
