112 means "Order Scheduled for Production." This means that my car will be built any day now. It's not just waiting to be built. IT WILL BE ...SOON! This, of course, means that the ball is really starting to roll in getting my car. I'm very excited.

112 just means they are waiting to pull your order and start the build, usually they dont have a production date schedule while in 112 status...150 status means they are currently building your car, they will give you a production completion date and you can no longer change anything on your order

I just purchased it about two weeks back. As to when it was ordered, I really don't know. My dealer changed the details on a 1er that was already allocated to them and moving through the order/production process. This moved me up in the delivery time line. If I had to place a brand new order I'm sure it would take even longer.
