I'm also using 10mm spacers up front to maximize track. I'm using Vorshlag camber plates to dial in about -2.5 camber and have no rubbing issues on the fender lip. And plenty of clearence to the suspension side. Haven't tried putting the wheel on without the spacers, but I think they will rub. Someone mentioned they needed at least a 5mm spacer to clear the suspension with their set of Breyton's
thanks,

but if i don't run with spacer and camber plates. will i get rubbing?

You need at minimum a 5mm spacer to mount the Breyton GTS-R 18x8.5 et48 in front.

Just a few questions

1. Can I fit 18*8.5 wheels with 245 35 tire all around without spacer and no rubbing even With some aftermaket suspension( say PSS10)? PS: I don't care the wider front track looking.

2. Does this wheel strong enough for track work?

3. Can you ship them to australia?

4. anyone has pics of AW 135 with grey GTS-R??

thanks a lot!
1. I couldn't say for sure. We've not tested that here.

2. Absolutely

3. Yes, not a problem.

If you run 225/40's on the front with the GTS-R's, you will not rub. I don't know about 235/35's.

To be clear, the spacer is required for the 18x8.5 Breyton in the front to prevent the wheel rim from contacting the strut. I'm running 225x40 in front, with a 5mm spacer, and there is no rubbing anywhere. I understand that TC Kline runs the Breyton 18x8.5 with 245x35 in front with no issues, but talk to them yourself.

So go with the 18x7.5 Breyton GTS-R in front and 225x40 tires = no spacer and no fitment problems.

NO RUB pic of Breyton's with 245 all around and 10mm spacer in front. Let me know if this link works. Can be finicky. I don't have any close-ups. Hard to do that while I'm driving.

I think Gill has stated before that there are no plans for anything other than the red stripe on gunmetal and black GTS-R wheels. However, it was only a 45 minute job to paint the red over with black on my gunmetals.

Just camber plates & 10mm spacers. Waiting for more product selection and good track feedback before I invest in more mods.

cool, do you feel like the wider front track dialed out alot of the understeer ? thats the only reason i'm going to invest in a new set

i hated the car when i took it to the track the understeer and tires were horrible..

My track set-up right now is camber plates giving me about -2 camber, 10mm spacers and 245 35 18 on all four corners. There is a noticable improvement in reducing understeer. It is not as neutral as I would like, but getting closer. I agree that the stock suspension was a front tire eating plow fest. After a few track events with Kumho v700 tires, I was surprised at the very even tire wear. I'm pretty happy with this arrangement for the moment. Sway bars are probably next, but I want to get more track feeback with bars before I invest.

I've got the black GTS-R's on and put H&R coilovers on and they lowered the car 3 inches. Only problem is that now I'm getting some rubbing of the front fender lip when I hit a sudden dip...Anybody know of any spacers or other solution beside flaring the fenders.:iono:
