BBS RE-V and CH-R Brilliant Silver

I found these BBS RE-Vs online, forged and look amazing. I think they look better than the F1s.

http://blog.wheelsto.com/2009/06/new...-bbs-re-v.html

Anyway, don't want to spend that much right now. Does anyone have any pics of AW 1M with 19" Brilliant Silver CH-Rs?

Check an earlier post of mine: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=11 for pictures of 1M's featuring BBS CH-R:
  • "Brilliant Silver" (silver) (19") on VO
  • "Satin Titanium" (gunmetal) (19") on VO
  • "Satin Titanium" (gunmetal) (20") on AW
  • "Satin Black" (black) (19") on AW
  • "Satin Black" (black) (19") on BSM
  • "Satin Black" (black) (20") on BSM
  • "Red" (custom colored)
  • "///M Blue"(custom colored)
  • "Bronze" (custom colored)
But you're right, no picture of Brilliant Silver (19") on AW.

Past Summer forum fellow Chapman1977 put his Satin Titanium 19" set up for sale for EUR1,400. Don't know whether they're already sold in the meantime: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=720545 + http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=702701

The E90post.com board sponsor "BaanVelgen" (The Netherlands) is specialized in selling/modding BBS CH-R wheels. Personally I did not deal with them but they seem to get positive sales feedback from US customers. They offer 19" sets (new) for EUR1,341 (± US$1,682) + EUR300 (US$377) shipping costs to the US (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=728141).

Artemis, thanks.

I saw the Satin Silver ones on Golo's car and they look cool, just hoping for AW with Brilliant Silver. It's a tough choice! I wish someone actually stocked samples to compare them. Some look better in real life. Some colors fit better on others. I don't like Black wheels on the white 1M for example, but they look good on some of the VO cars. It's all opinion of course.

Are these CE-28N?
If they are, we have the same wheels

Personally, I would not opt for BBS CH-R in silver ("Brilliant Silver") as the look of those is matching too close the look of the 1M stock wheels (OEM 359 M Y-spoke Competition rims). With gunmetal, the difference is a bit more obvious to notice.

Actually, I opted for gunmetal simply to have a different look for my winter tires. So during the Winter season my 1M looks different (BBS CH-R) compared to the Summer season (stock), as if it were a different car. And it's striking: it definitely springs to the eye, every time you approach the car. Furthermore, on a practical note: we do know that rims are more exposed to dirt during Winter time (snow, rain, ice, salt, mud, etc.); well, gunmetal is a better color than silver for visually hiding dirt.

However, as we also know, too bad that BMW has no gunmetal OEM 359 M Y-spoke Competition rims on offer: it's either silver (1M) or black (M3 GTS). Some get a spare set of 1M stock wheels and give them a gunmetal treatment. I did not consider that option: last Winter I looked aftermarket and ended up with BBS CH-R in gunmetal ("Satin Titanium") as a decent alternative. Moreover, those have a fairly reasonable price-ticket (no attack on your wallet as is the case with rims of the "BBS Individual" collection) (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=653581). It's a rather close call when compared to the 1M stock wheels + the same built quality.

For the visual difference between OEM 359 M Y-spoke Competition rims (stock) and BBS CH-R rims (with a couple of pictures to illustrate), see another of my earlier posts: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...7&postcount=23

Artemis, do you have an idea if those are the faux-vent looking anthrazit overlays that Lightweight Titanauspuffanlagen are selling? I have a set from them but those on this last photo may be a different one or it's just the photo. They look great.

By the way, 20 inch wheels with 25 and 30 profile tires are so overkill for this car imo. Color looks cool though.
