Automatic Shifter Connectors

While attempting to remove my trim around my shifter, I noticed a white connector and blue connector for illuminating the display. Can anyone provide any directions to disconnect them? I feel like an idiot, but I dont want to take any chances breaking anything

Not an idiot. Its simple, when pulling up the trim make sure not to yank on the wire first. Having expose the the wires, just pull gently and they should release. If struggling just pull a little harder and they should release the connector. Hope this helps. Pm if you need additional help.

They're just little clips that connect via pressure. Wiggle them loose.
