Saw a VO on Friday afternoon on 377 just at the Cresson stop light. I figured it was someone there to register and do the TDE event for the weekend. Nope...never saw again all weekend. Such a random place? Was it anyone here?

The company I work for has a plant out there. My co-worker says he has seen a VO in the same area...

I work over in Godley, almost right across 171 from MSR and drive a VO. It was probably me on my way home if it was about that time of day. I haven't seen any other 1M's on the road yet, especially in that area. I completely forgot about the event this past weekend. I heard the cars running on Friday morning and almost came out to see what was going on. How did the event go? I am seriously interested in running one of those one day events with an instructor where you bring your own car.

the event went really well. there was some car carnage but not for me. i drove home safely and had a great time. i ran yellow solo all weekend which i was surprised about. i ran the first day by myself but kept missing a few of the corners so I had a buddy who is a instructor ride with me one session and then it all came together. a few small changes in my line made a big difference. I dropped my times 10 seconds from Sat to Sunday. You should come out and run one. The local BMW club is doing at the end of April and we have a few of our fellow DFW guys as instructors. Im sure they would be happy to instruct another 1M guy.

I'm going to post a link to a lap of my last session of the weekend on the main page. Normally i wouldn't post a direct link for every one to see and criticize but this was too good not too. It has a surprise ending to a pretty decent run of the 3.1 course.

you should register for the BMW CCA event April 28-29 .....

did the car show thing last two weeks.... Subaru show and then Cars and Coffee in Leander last weekend.. (which was nice in that it is midday and not early am) . I have to work Saturday..
