Youre welcome. I agree with you totally. The performance bumper looks like it belongs on a128 instead of 135. I was thinking of molding mine and painting them too. I really dont care for any of the lips except the 3D design. But I'm still sold on the look of splitters. The I carbon lip doesnt look good across the front center of the air dam. Of course just my opinion. Adrean, your wheels are fantastic. I love all of your mods. If you had the m bumper with splitters, you would have my fav 1er. Bmw finance, be sure to post some pix upon completion. Good luck buddy.

Quick question to the people who don't like the performance bumper. Have you ever seen it in person? If you see it in person it looks waaaay more aggressive than the stock M-tec bumper. It is hard to see in pictures (just like the beauty of the 1er is hard to see in pictures sometimes).

@Udub: Does that Kerscher lip even fit the performance bumper??? If it does then I may have to look into that.

The rims are Vorsteiner V-302's and cost an arm and a leg and half of my brain....LOL...great looking wheels, but they don't still don't fit perfectly after over a year(supposed to be custom offsets) after sending them back once to get new center caps and check offsets (which the told me were correct). Bottom line is the vendor finally told me that one of my wheels probably need 2-3mm shaved off of the hub...WTF??!! Needless to say I will stick with cheap wheel options from here on out....

well if you have to drill the holes for it to light up I don't see how it couldn't fit.

Kerscher has some interesting selections...but they intimate that the lip is for the "M" style front bumper:

...not sure I would risk being the guinea pig to attempt to fit it to a performance style bumper. I still have my stock M bumper....I might change it up style-wise when I get back and throw it on there for shits and giggles.

Maybe someone in your area will order one of the splitters and be kind enough to just drive over.. and put it under to see if it even lines up.. just a suggestion..

i think your wrong..the m-sport front bumper is not that cool as the performance..it looks more sporty and clean..it changes the car big time

No it wont fit because that "splitter" is more then just a flat piece of carbon it actually flows with the lines of the MTech Bumper. We're a Dealer for Kerscher:

^^^Not enough people around who dropped the money on the BMW performance bumper for Kerscher to justify creating one just for us...at least I think that is what they will say...but if they did decide to come out with something similar for the performance bumper then I am pretty much a guaranteed lock to purchase

Sorry but those splitters look "tacked-on" to make the bumper look cool...would have been better with an entire lip...IMO....The performance bumper at least looks like it was made for the car which, of course, it was. As seen in the Tii concept vehicle made before the 1 series coupe was ever released.

Sorry but I have to disagree here.. I think the stock ///M Sport looks better and yes I have seen the performance one in real life..it's just to 'oval' for me..
