Mix / Match Fronts / Rears

Ok, so I'm in a huge pickle, have 3 wheels w tires and one without. They are Bridgestone Potenza RE01R's. Maybe 5k on them, so they are fairly new. My problem is they are completely discontinued. Ive literally looked everywhere for a single tire, and this is not going to happen. So, is there any possible way I could run a different set of front tires than the rears ? Even if they are another set of Potenzas, maybe the RE11's ? This situation has screwed me big time, and its just screwing me more and more. Lemme know what you guys think I should do. Thanks.

Just make sure they match left to right. Mismatched front to rear will give different handling characteristics depending on what tire has less grip and where, so be aware of that.

Yeah that's the one reason Ive been on the fence, but I solely daily drive, not much of a crazy driver who likes to pull from stop sign to stop sign. And Im just in such a ditch right now haha.

No problem. Not much different than playing around with different widths front to back which we do all the time.

You're over thinking it. It'll be fine. Just take time to get used to the new tires.
