Correct Assumption?
Am I correct in my assumption to the following?
On 4/7/2012 the web site stated "Your vehicle has left the plant and is ready to ship". On 4/7/2012 the 800 recording stated "Your vehicle was released to carrier for transportation to port of entry". From my limited knowledge is my car in the parking lot of the factory, on its way to the port or at the port and awaiting to be loaded on the ship? Any comments are welcome. |

I believe released to carrier means its sitting at the port in the carrier's parking lot waiting for its ship to come in, so to speak. Mine sat there for just under a week.
The good part is now if you have a VIN you can track the car on the shipper's website. If you don't have the VIN get it from your CA. |
