AW 1M for sale at New Century BMW

I was wondering if anyone knows who owned the AW 1M that is for sale at New Century BMW in Alhambra, CA. It has the electronic performance steering wheel and some other BMW performance accessories. If anyone has any info on who the owner was and what price they sold/traded it in for, I would greatly appreciate it.

Is this pricing even remotely reflective of the current market place or is this a dealership pipe dream?

Would be interesting to start a bought for/sold for thread to use as a resource for prospective buyers/sellers. I see these astronomical prices, but have no idea what people are actually paying.

I'd say more like pipe dream pricing. Here's a list of 1M's within 30 miles of me. Crazy prices.

Hey guys, new member here but I've been lurking for awhile

I've been looking into getting a 1M for quite some time, but I've been hearing different stories as to what a fair going rate for one is. Obviously the dealerships will play up the whole "there's only 740 in the US and the demand is really high right now" card, but what are people actually paying? I am actually very close to New Century BMW and have seen the car (they will NOT budge on the price), so I expect to pay a little more anyways for the "SoCal" premium, but $66k+ seems a little excessive even if the car is still appreciating.

Mine is for sale without the SoCal premium.

A few weeks back, here in St. Louis, an AW 1M w/about 20k miles sold from the dealership within a week of listing for full ask of $58k to a buyer in Florida.

So probably a bit high, but if they're still selling for 58k in the midwest, I'd expect the coasts to be even higher.

That price is a dealership pipe dream, however, KBB does show the car as appreciating in value.
